Pilatus

Started at the cable car station in Kriens just as the first light hit the summit.

The trail up to Fräkmüntegg wasn't too interesting, and quite steep from Fräkmüntegg up to the Klimsenkapelle and Pilatus-Kulm. I was glad the trail was clear of snow and not too wet. Didn't see a lot of people on this trail.

Passed through the Pilatus-Kulm station, checked out the views from the Esel summit, and sat down for lunch at the restaurant before the crowds arrived. Spotted some alpine ibex in the area.

Followed the path from Pilatus-Kulm to the Tomlishorn. Wasn't surprised to see quite a few people on this path -- I bet it gets congested on nice weekends. Continued a short bit down past the Tomlishorn, where we saw several alpine ibex up close.

Headed back to the station and took the cable car back down to Kriens.
