5-lakes hike plus Pizol peak (2844 m)

The 5 lakes hike (5-Seen Wanderung) in the Pizol area is well known, so I will not describe it in more detail. Usually people may start at the Pizol lodge and walk from the Wildsee lake down. However, I started at Gaffia, and went from the Baschalvasee lake upwards. After reaching Wildsee, I made a "detour" to the summit of Pizol as well. The white-blue trail to from Wildseeluggen to Pizol had just been relocated in such a way that crossing the glacier was not necessary.

The most difficult part of the ascent is shortly before reaching the summit of Pizol, but the exposed sections are nicely secured with chains (T4).

After the descent from Pizol summit, I hike down to Wildsee, and then to the Pizol lodge. From there I took the chair lift and cable cars back down to the valley.
